I' ve just read this article by Brian Stelter on the New York Times about Chris Hughes, a guy who after co-founding Facebook with Mark Zuckerberg, left the job to develop Barack Obama's Web presence. It's not jsut interesting the story itself, it also offers some incredible differences between USA and Italy. In his early twenties Hughes 1) co-founded what's now a multi-billion company, 2) he truly believes in a politician and 3) he developed Obama's Web presence in such a way that it' s been critical to the candidate's success so far. It's sad to realize once more that none of this three elements can be even remotly achieved here in Italy.

I would like to end this post in a different way, but this is the only one that comes to my mind
